Title
M&S Starpack Project - Environmentally responsible packaging for cured meats
Brief
You will need to investigate and analyse the possibilities of more environmentally appropriate packaging for M&S Deli Foods. This is interconnected with the personal experience of shopping for, buying, and consuming these products. What sort of consumer is a typical M&S Food shopper? How can this overall experience and how you feel it relates to M&S be appropriate for the food (hygiene, longevity, protection, transportation, etc.), the user (a typical M&S Food customer) and M&S itself (what does the brand stand for and how is this manifest in 3Dimensional form and material choice?).

Response
This environmentally friendly packaging aims to reduce the carbon footprint of the cold meat packaging industry. Utilising a resealable card sleeve, biodegradable plastic and soya based inks, this solution aims to keep the meat fresher for longer and to be kind to the environment.
